Lithium Disilicate, or better known as Emax is our top-of-the-line material used primarily for Aesthetic Anterior Restorations. Emax is an incredible material that has a natural translucency. With some customization such as layering and custom stain techniques, an Emax crown can be undetectable in the patient's mouth.

Gaines Dental is proud to only offer OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) custom abutments where available. If the original implant company does not offer custom abutments, manufacturing is done by a FDA approved milling center such as Argen. We scan and design custom abutments through 3shape design software, and then send them to the OEM to be fabricated. The custom abutment allows for the final restoration to have a better emergence profile and in most cases a broader structure for the crown to bond to. A custom abutment is used to achieve a better, more esthetic final restoration. We have on hand almost every platform impression post/ coping available.
